hp -- somewhere only we know

3 of the 4 Marauders, from (in case you've been living under a rock) Harry Potter |D the ones pictured here are (supposed to be) James, Remus, and Sirius, chillingggg in the Forbidden Forest after their NEWTs. Those brown sausage-like things dangling from Remus' hands are supposed to be his cute little oxfords but I got too lazy to paint them in detail. Actually this whole piece is pretty much a mess 8D this will probably be the last time in a while I'm going to do another laborious landscape unghh ._. I do like the colors though.

Originally I was planning on titling this 'Of Mice and Men' (lolol) but since I decided to not draw Peter it didn't seem as appropriate no mo' (ok so I like shitty puns). So I used the title of a Keane song--part of the reason may have been because the music video for this song takes place in a sun-dappled forest.

time taken: mmm...6 hours give or take half an hour. I also took a lot of breaks in between to watch bad tv and eat :B
